CEO is a proud member of the Literacy Coalition of Colorado (LCC), a statewide network that promotes adult and family literacy in Colorado (click on Logo to visit their web site). The LCC serves the community by bringing together literacy service providers under one umbrella. The LCC also functions as a resource for individuals seeking literacy information by referring students and volunteers to local programs. In addition, the LCC provides training to volunteers and professional development opportunities for volunteers and teachers in the field. Become a Partner Site
Partner with CEO and provide your clients with easy and direct access to educational opportunities! CEO provides on-site classes to assist adult learners improve literacy skills, earn a secondary diploma, gain employment, and improve life skills.
CEO tailors classes to meet the distinct needs of students at each location. CEO designs classes around client and funding availability. Partner sites provide classroom space for up to 20 students, secure storage space for materials, and access to office equipment including copy machine, fax machine, and telephone. Partner sites also provide office space when needed. Partner agency staff are encouraged to provide system-wide support to all clients in need of CEO’s educational services.
CEO recruits, hires, trains, and supervises staff to direct the education and counseling of students. In addition, CEO recruits, trains, and supports volunteers who provide students with access to one-on-one tutoring. CEO is responsible for identifying and purchasing appropriate curriculum materials and maintaining records on client attendance and progress. CEO site directors will furnish reports to partner site directors and staff as needed. CEO works to secure matched funding for all partner sites to enhance services.
