CEO Salutes February & March Students of the Month

Congratulations Alfred DeSantiago – February, 2017 CEO Student of the Month

Alfred DeSantiago has put in tremendous effort into his language arts class. He has perfect attendance, has turned in every piece of homework early, and makes strong contributions in class. He always has a positive attitude and helps out his other classmates when they are struggling with a concept in class.

At first, DeSantiago did not like the writing aspect of class, but (with a little coaxing) now writes some of the most creative and interesting essays in class. For these reasons, we are proud to announce him as our March “Student of the Month”!

Congratulations Arthur Jones – March, 2017 CEO Student of the Month

This is Arthur’s second time to be in my language arts class and he has shown tremendous character and perseverance throughout the entire process. Even though he barley missed passing his post-test the first time, he overcame his obstacles and buckled down in his studies. He has had perfect attendance and homework BOTH sessions, which is a big feat.

He has endured a traumatic accident which has left him with difficulties writing, but not only has he continued to push himself, he has been writing poetry. I have enjoyed reading his writings in class and to see how poetic he is at heart. His additions to the discussions in class are courteous and insightful.  He is truly a joy to have in class and I want to congratulate him!
