Mentors for Employment, Education
& Life Skills Coaching Needed
Community Educational Outreach has an urgent need for volunteers to assist our staff at our Greeley and Pueblo facilities.
As a volunteer you will meet and work directly with our Client base; at-risk adults who striving to improve their education levels, prepare for and secure gainful employment and to complete a successful transition back into their communities.
Many of our clients have completed corrections sentencing or have entered the CEO program by a court directive. Much more than a “halfway house”, CEO works in partnership with Intervention Community Corrections Services (ICCS).
ICCS provides a wide range of supportive programs including probation supervision, restorative justice practices, drug testing, counseling and therapy just to name a few.
As a volunteer you can select your area interest whether it be direct GED tutoring, employment preparation including establishing employment objectives, assistance with resumes and supporting job-search documents, practice interviews, computer lab workshops and much more.
You will gain the satisfaction of experiencing a client obtaining their GED due to your assistance, or share in a celebration when your client lands a job. You will become not only a role model, but a true mentor, a cheer leader and a friend.
