State Legislators Place GED Funding Issue On the Docket

The State of Colorado could be getting state funding for adult education this year through House Bill 1085, a much needed measure to ensure continued  progress in programs such as Community Educational Outreach.

There will be a public testimony hearing on Monday, January 27th at 1:30pm in room 112 of the Capital Building.  CEO staff members will be in attendance to witness the proceedings.  Program Director Vanessa Montano will report back on the progress of the measure in the Colorado House of Representatives.

It passed through the house. Now it will go to the governor’s desk and he will decide what to do with it.
