“Colorado Gives” Day is Tuesday! Give CEO a Hand!

The following message is from CEO Executive Director Jessica Beckman

Jessica Beckman - CEO Executive Director

“I ask and encourage all of our associates around Denver to promote Colorado Gives Day on December 6th, and give consideration to support Community Educational Outreach.

The money that CEO raised at the end of last year helped us purchase new computers for the ICCS-Lakewood location. This year the Greeley lab needs new computers! This is a great opportunity to tap into each of your networks and gain support from your family, friends, and colleagues.

Colorado Gives day is sponsored by First Bank! Donations can be made on-line through Giving First and you may schedule a donation for 12/6/11 in case you don’t want to wait. Simply navigate to https://givingfirst.org/ceocolorado/overview and select the “Donate Now” button in the top right corner of the page.  You may also proceed to www.givingfirst.org and then search for “Community Educational Outreach”

Your assistance helps CEO help adults in transition with basic education, GED preparation, job search and life skills. Funds raised will be used to purchase classroom materials, new computers (some are nearly 8 years old), and to assist students who cannot afford to pay $125 for the GED test with scholarships. Please give! You would be amazed to learn how much a few dollars can help our students and programs.

If you can’t afford to donate, please share this information with your friends and acquaintances by forwarding this email and posting the information on your Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn account. This just takes a few seconds of your time, but it could make a world of difference to someone who is trying to get back on their feet.

Thank you so much and Happy Holidays!”
